We Will Masquerade Ball 2019

Oct 23, 2019 | News, NitFlix

We Will Masquerade Ball was a night to remember. It took place at F&J Pine Restaurant in the Bronx. In brief, the Pine is known for its Italian food and history.

We Will Masquerade Ball

This is an annual fundraiser event by We W.I.L.L.Thru Sports. Chiefly, this is a non-profit organization reaching at-risk youth, while showing all children they have a purpose, not necessarily to be an athlete, but to be successful!

We were fortunate to be a part of this fabulous event along with many wonderful people. Mary Woods is a counselor and key person within the organization. She is one of many who put this together including a silent auction to help raise funds. A-Way With Lice® contributed Grace’s NitFlix® our groundbreaking salon quality hair care formula, that has the added benefit of preventing lice.

We had the pleasure of meeting Lynne Black in person, finally, who is an absolute powerhouse. Lynne has assisted generously in the growth of We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports.

In addition, unbeknownst to us in the moment, we met and chatted with a NYC media celebrity, Monica Morales. She’s a five time Emmy Award winner and leads the Monica Makes It Happen series. Monica made things happen for We W.I.L.L. Thru Sports.

Sports Benefits

On account of sports making children move their body, while using their brain to execute strategies at the same time, it’s a great way of keeping their focus. Besides increasing their coordination, sports also fosters health and well-being. In addition to, teamwork and camaraderie.

Most of us like the positive impact sports has had on our life. Or, on the other hand, we see the void; what is missing by not taking part early on.  Either way, you can make a difference now, by contributing to others. Go to their website to see the positive impact this organization is having on 100’s of kids in otherwise high risk environments.

Make A Difference

Lastly, these children are our future. They may not be your biological children; however, they are the ones in your kids’ life…make it better for all of them.

As always I welcome your comments.
